Summary of Operations
Since 1990, Shinn Spring Water Company / dba “The Water Guy”™ has been a locally, independently owned and operated bottled water company located in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania. From it’s location in Berks County, “The Water Guy”™ provides home and office delivery of bottled water products in 14 counties in southeastern, PA and 2 counties in Northern Maryland. Our bottled spring water is real “Natural Spring Water” derived from 2 different spring water sources located in the mountains in Lebanon and Schuylkill counties. Our spring water sources are fully protected by thousands of acres of mountain land and the quality is uncompromised by industry or human development. “The Water Guy”™ also offers pharmaceutical grade (USP) distilled water for drinking and industry.
Our plant was built based on the current International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) model code requirements for domestic US water bottling operations and is managed by IBWA Certified Plant Operators (CPO). Our technical staff also includes a Quality Assurance department with over 29 years of beverage industry experience and an onsite Quality Control laboratory for all testing and reporting.
